Knitting caught me long ago
Firebird socks were quite a challenge
Second one was just the same
When I put them on my tootsies H said
Carie babe your feet are aflame
I cried "It's fever!"

Tsock Tsarina gave me fever
I'll be clear, it's true I am fair game

Very Very cool socks! Those look so great! And as I get ready to head to a hot, dry dust-bowl for 10 days of fieldwork, I'm going to keep that image of knitting in a hammock by beautiful water in my head! Maybe it will help keep me mentally cool at least!
